Blessings Card

I don’t often use the “card feature” on any cartridge; I usually like to make my own card base and then add to it with cuts, embellishments, and stamps.  However, lately I’ve been loving window cards and using the card feature made it quick and painless!  No more worrying about measurements and where your cut will fit on the card base!

Something else new for me was using Cricut Craftroom to create my whole project.  Within the (FREE) program I used Sophie (a Circle Exclusive cartridge) for the card base, and the front layer.  I created a liner for the inside of the card so that the window didn’t peer into the message part of the card, and used the cross from Wedding Solutions to create my peek through image.  I adhered craft plastic behind my first layer so that the window effect was enhanced.

The papers and ink used are from Close to My Heart – love the way they coordinate!

Thanks for Looking!
