I have never had a dog, or a cat, but I have seen the heartache that their owners have gone through when they’ve left this Earth. The pet boutique I am currently creating cards for will specialize in bereavement and hopefully offer a place where friends of those going through this hard time might find something appropriate to share their warm thoughts and prayers. Here are two more cards I’ve made for such an occasion…
I used a dog from Nate’s ABCs and wings from Gypsy Wanderings for the dog angel card, and the cat from Zooballoo along with butterfly wings from the Art Philosophy cartridge for the cat angel card. The wings are glittered using liquid glass adhesive and coarse glitter. Use the tip of the glue to spread it all over the wings. Once you have an even layer, pour the glitter over top while it is still wet. Tap off the excess, and leave to dry – it will take a while to dry completely, but this glue dries super clear and all you’ll notice is the glitter 🙂
I also inked the animals, background, and tags with cocoa ink for a little more definition. A little bit of stickles on the halo in the sentiment, and these cards were ready to go!
Demo Time!!
