What’s that!? Two posts in one day?? I just couldn’t resist after I took pictures of this project as well. I was playing with the different 3-D elements from the Art Philosophy cartridge and made this heart shaped container (cut at 8.5″). By adding a couple holes and some ribbon it becomes a cute little bag – would be sweet to hold valentine messages for kids or loved ones on Valentines Day, or little love notes for any day!
I used my Cuttlebug to emboss a 4″ heart cut out of Black Magic Core’dinations cardstock. By sanding the texture I was able to get the pink core to show through in the pattern. I also used CTMH’s Cherish the Day stamp set – it was November’s stamp of the month and one of my favourites! I stamped on a ticket cut from AP at 1″. I wanted a little shine so I used pearl glimmer mist on all of my pieces. For final touches I added some black hemp, a few Recollections flowers and some rhinestones.
